Joining and Beta Testing Requests: Take it easy, people!

Some people have been spreading posts like this in most of the projects:

Can i be a beta tester?

I personally believe the person will easily get a fast NO as answer and has a tendency to get a no for future requests. Why?

- If you ask for beta testing positions, you must make sure the project is already being beta tested or the author already started talking about beta testing. If nothing about beta testing is mentioned, don't ask.



Joining a mod is a bit more complicated than simply beta testing, because:

- The leader of the mod must be in need of crew
- The leader of the mod must know your skills. In this case you have to say what you can do and post a sample of your skills on that thing, so you may have a chance to join a serious mod.




And also, spamming attitudes may lower your reputation and respect here. So, pay attention to the stuff already posted and act wisely. I'm sure everyone is capable of doing that . Have fun!
