I have ra3 and uprising installed. I want to pull some voice lines from them but the tutorials I have seen and the links to the tools are broken.

I would greatly appreciate either some advise -- or if any ra3 modders here have access to Tank Buster/Imperial Warrior - Garrison Voicelines. "hurry inside" and "go go" this is all I need. Smile

I assume Jack the Ripper means this post on that thread.

I don't know how useful that tool is but I've extracted audio before using Jonwil's SDK Extras. You can get the tools from the C&C Guild website from what it appears, but I zipped up my copy to attach anyway. Note that mine appears to be a slightly different version or something; I don't really remember when or where I got it so I can't speak to why that is.

I believe the steps for extracting audio are as follows:
1. Open up bigextract.exe
2. At the top, go to File -> Open
3. Navigate to the Data folder where the game is installed
4. Open the .big file with the audio you're looking for - for English that'd be EnglishAudio.big
5. At the top, go to Edit -> Extract All
6. Extract everything somewhere; it'll all be put into a "data" folder in where ever you saved it
7. Open up binview.exe
8. Open up the audio.manifest file that was extracted
9. Select any audio file you wish and at the top, go to File -> Save

While there's an audiodump.exe in my version of the utilities, note that I didn't use it here. I'm not quite sure what it does since I don't really do anything regarding the games from C&C3 and onward outside of extract audio like this. The C&C Guild version has a "audioextract.exe" which may or may not be similar so your mileage may vary in that regard.

Also, this procedure can be used to extract audio files from any of the post-Generals games including Tiberium Wars and even Tiberian Twilight if you prefer.
