Question about CellSpread.

Honestly I don't quite understand this CellSpread.MaxAffect tag so I hope someone can enlighten me on this. Take note I've already read the document. Is this tag makes CellSpread does not cause extreme damage at the center but still causes splash damage?

For instance, a weapon with 200 damage and its warhead's CellSpread is 2. Normally the center of the cell/main target causes more damage like 250-300 damage. I'm just hoping that this tag prevents that or unless there's actually no feature regarding that.

CellSpread.MaxAffect can limit the amount of times a building with a foundation greater then 1x1 can take damage. For example a 2x2 building hit by a weapon with damage 200 could take up to 800 in total (one for each cell it occupies). With CellSpread.MaxAffect you can limit the weapon to only damage the building only once or twice instead.

Oh okay I completely understand now.

So that means there's no way or feature that prevents more damage at the center of the cell/main target for warheads with more than 1 CellSpread? Like for instance, a weapon with 200 damage and its warhead's CellSpread is 2. The center of the cell/main target will cause only 200 damage but surrounding targets/cells still cause less damage.

Actually never mind since my main concern is dealing damage on buildings with more than 1 CellSpread and I was thinking of something else. Once again, thank you for clarifying!

You can use PercentAtMax to make objects take less damage at the edge of the CellSpread.
