XCC Editor gives me an error whenever I run it. This is funny 'cause XCC Mixer seems recognize my Origin installation from the on-the-house.

Is/was there fix I'm not aware of?

BUMP! Am I the only one with this error?
Is the problem that I have both XWIS and Origin's on-the-house installed on the same machine?

Hardly anyone uses XCC Mix Editor anymore, It's old, buggy & can corrupt your mix files.

Installing programs that need write permission and see constant file changes under C is prone to cause trouble.

And use XCC Mixer for everything Mix related.

Then how do people get that fancy Mod Launcher? Or are we all better off using CnCNet?

EDIT: XCC Editor still no work as Admin, even when launched from my USB.

Actually no one use XCC editor anymore... Also I try to open XCC editor and yes I get the same error, but I don't care about it.

Usually people know where they have stuff on their HDD (*), use tools like Total Commander to go to that folder and then start the exe

(*)usually well organized on a separate partition with folders that group similar things and not using the stupid default windows folders

XCC Mod Creator/Launcher is separate & has nothing to do with the Mix Editor.

Then where do the launchers come from? What program is used to create them? Wasn't it XCC Editor?

While the link for the Mod Creator is created, the EXE doesn't exist as it isn't even extracted. Same goes to the Mod Launcher.
Spoiler (click here to read it):
Code:
Output folder: C:\Supremacy\XCC
Extract: global mix database.dat
Extract: infantry.xif
Extract: overlays.xif
Extract: structures.xif
Extract: theater.xif
Extract: units.xif
Extract: XCC AV Player.exe
Extract: XCC Editor.exe
Extract: XCC MIX Editor.exe
Extract: XCC Mixer.exe
Extract: XCC TMP Editor.exe
Created uninstaller: C:\Supremacy\XCC\Uninstall.exe
Create folder: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\XCC
Create shortcut: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\XCC\AV Player.lnk
Create shortcut: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\XCC\Editor.lnk
Create shortcut: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\XCC\MIX Editor.lnk

Then try a different installer, it was probably removed from the latest release because it's old & no longer supported.
