I have a vehicle that deploys into a building that is 1x1 cell size, but when it deploys the building shows up 1 tile north of the vehicles position. How come?

That is an engine bug that isn't fixed until Yuri's Revenge.
IF you were talking RA2.

But since this is TS:
Does the building the unit deploys into have SensorArray= ?
Negate the value, see what happens.

Wrong, he just forgot one of the deployer keys on the building.
IsJuggernaut=yes
Artillary=yes (yes, it is written that way)
TickTank=yes
or any other
Those deployer keys tell the unit to which facing it should rotate before deploying
and also where it is centered in the deploying building.

RA2 has in gamemd.exe
Artillary
ICBMLauncher
TickTank
(and probably several others, which i didn't bother to find. you can use a text editor and search them yourself)

In addition it has
DeployFacing

If they all still work? No clue, test yourself.
