[Release] Advanced Rubble for Civilian Buildings + Fixes
Hey, in my spare time I've been working on converting all the vanilla civilian buildings in YR into advanced rubble, meaning taking the rubble from each building and making it it's own unique building / SHP file. I've included a readme with the fix notes and artmd.ini for as far as I know, that file doesn't work with include. If you want to read them before downloading:
Includes fixed CANEWY05 with added urban combat frame
Created shadow for and fixed CAWASH06
Created snow rubble for CAOUTP
Changed CITY palette to fix colors of buildings using it
Fixed wrong palette for YACOMD rubble
Fixed wrong colors on miami hotel rubble
Fixed wrong palette for 1 frame of LA11 in multiple theatres
Fixed a bunch of buildings that didn't work for specific theatres because Westwood:
cdsydn02, cdsydn03, cdtran03, cdseat01, cala01, clseat01, clsydn02, clsydn03, cltran03, caegyp01,
calond05, camorr01, camorr02, camorr03, casydn02, ctlond06, cnla11, cula01, cula11
To use, simply add elocalrubble.mix to your RA2 directory, copy the marked contents of the readme to your artmd.ini file, and it should be working in game.
Anything added/created was done by hand because I'm still lacking a PC that can handle 3D work.
If there's anything that I missed or is wrong let me know and I hope its useful for the time it took lol.
EDIT: Updated 2/20/2021
Now you simply have to include it in rulesmd and artmd, no copypasting required.
Fixed CATRAN03 rubble being the wrong size. Thanks Starkku!
Add to the bottom of rulesmd.ini:
[#include]
1=rubblemd.ini
Add to the bottom of artmd.ini:
[#include]
1=rubbleart.ini
advanced rubble addon v3.zip
Description:
Updated to easier system of [#include] art and fixed yet another wrong foundation

Thanks for the appreciation!
Edited the first post to include that I forgot to say to add [#include] rubblemd.ini which is pretty important. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
I'd say "nice one", but I still have to llok at them
Say, it is possible to make the repairable rubble indestructible, yes?
Asking 'cause I decided to have all useless/impassable rubble, that can't be built upon, removed for my mod... QUICK_EDIT
That sounds like it would just be easier to find and replace all LeaveRubble=yes with LeaveRubble=no, but yes it's possible. Just make up your own armor type and change it on the rubble base:
[ArmorTypes]
steelbeams=0%
[CIVRBL]
LegalTarget=no
Armor=steelbeams ;Armor=concrete _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
Uploaded a new version as I didn't noticed 3 of the buildings had the wrong foundation or wrong rubble for their building. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
CASTL01 from the snow mix doesn't even HAVE snow rubble even in vanilla, might be worth you fixing that too. _________________ MIdAS - Turning wages into beer since 2002 QUICK_EDIT
And CASTL02 from snow mix is in the wrong palette for rubble as well, most of PARS doesn't have different rubble for snow, and there doesn't even seem to be a correct palette for TEXS06-08's rubble, etc. so there's a lot more to be fixed that are a lot more work than it's worth.
What's included in the mix is generic to work for all theatres unless it already has snow art (with a couple exceptions) so it does have rubble if you use the advanced rubble logic.
I'll have to be really bored to fix all those issues lol. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
