Oh hey, I'm back again after a long time.

Few things I have noticed recently in Skirmish mode:

1. AI Allies do not use their heavier vehicles in Enhanced Mode. They seem to rush endlessly with Rangers, Lights, and sometimes Meds. Other times, they utilize mostly infantry rush with occasional Longbow swarms. They also do not use their Artillery units, or Hero units for that matter.

2. I have yet to see AI Soviets use the Gatling Tank. They also do not use their Hero units.

In my experience the Allies AI actually spams artillery like crazy, especially when its base is under attack.

I agree on the epic units thing, I actually do rarely see the Behemoth and can't remember ever seeing an AI Volkov

The AI doesn't build Gatling tanks in the current public build because of a bug. We already fixed it in our development build a
long time ago though, so it'll be fixed in the next public update.
The Behemoth might be affected by the same bug, but the AI should still build Volkovs.

The same bug could theoretically also prevent the Allied AI from building Tank Destroyers, although I've personally seen the AI use them as well as Chrono tanks. Artillery aren't affected by it, the AI should build them.

Remember that we can't make the AI respect the build limits of epic units, so to deal with that I've made the AI build epic units somewhat scarcely so they're not always present on the battlefield, but still so that you should see them commonly (just not multiple at once). For example, the AI used to build Volkov more often, but I made it less common after I once got attacked by 3 Volkovs at the same time by the AI.

I noticed they spam artillery like crazy in the last build. Not the current one. Perhaps the glitch affects users differently?

I played some today and noticed Volkov. Definitely no Behemoth, Power Suit, etc. Cyborg is still around.

The current Allied AI doesn't seem to use any of those heavier vehicles for me. Not sure why. They attack endlessly with infantry and armor up to medium tank.

I don't know if map size has something to do with it, but I've only played on the smaller maps recently.

For Nod, I often see two SSM Launchers in Enhanced mode. The same goes for Cyborg. They seem to be in pairs a lot.


This is more complicated than I thought. lol
