Today, I've started the instalation program for Red Alert 2 with my allied disc. The CD was quite dirty and well, it was bad... when it started copying the files, it stopped in 7%, accused error. I pressed resume and then, well, resumed. stopped again in 14%... pissed, I've cleaned it and resumed... it stopped again in 21% (funny coincidence of multiples of 7)... very pissed, I inserted the soviet disc. Since them, the instalation had paused anymore but it had:

- story being told without pictures
- screwed up counter
- screwed up side texts
- when it reached 100%, the game was still flashing new weapons (which I couldnt see) and didnt recognized the end of the instalation... take a look yourselves:

probably a scratch on the disk, that could explain the stopping and the screwed up text, also if the scratch was straight down the inside of the disk, it might also explain the stopping at multiples of seven.

that stinks i had problems after i installed my Ra2 like in skirmish or campaign once i built barracks it would blow up my base or it wouldnt let me go online
its fixed now
hope u get that fixed lol

now this maybe a crazy idea, but why dont u install straight from soviet disk

if taht ztype sup, buy ra2 again

After that "great installation", I've installed directly from the soviet disc and had no problems..
