Should i change it so that the drop pods are instead mutant reinforcements for the mutant side?

Well, so far GDI has an ion cannon mk2, Ion Storm & drop pods, while Nod has a Nuclear Cluster Missile & A Meteor Storm. Cabal has a Tacitus Missile launch, which is good enough for Cabal to only have one. Although the mutants only have a pirated Ion Cannon, so i was wondering, should i change the drop pods over to the mutant team, & then fiddle with it so that it becomes mutant reinforcements? Would that equal out the teams more?

Good Idea. Perhaps you could modify the descending anim ( /remove it) so it looks they're coming out of the ground or something. Keep in mind, I'm thinking of adding this to TSTW, someday #Tongue

Or just change the drop pod animation to a custom one where the pods come up.  Just an idea.

Yeah it would.  Make like an egg like animation that opens up and then the mutants would come out, like with normal drop pods, only new animation of your choice.

Change the droppod infantry to tiberian beasts, remove the droppod flying animation and make the DroppodHitsGround animation = DIG.shp . Should look like tib fiends unburrow from the ground...

Commando burrowing from out the ground look weird imo.... Unless you make a smaller DIG and give him some visible device of travelling underground. It could stay on the ground (like the used droppod stays).

Maybe make some mutants like fremen in dune? I mean stealth and powerful MGs (D2k) and sniper rifles (Emperor)... But dont call them mutant commandos, that would ruin the concept. Maybe better something like "wasteland wanderers" or some religious beduins. The last will fit, because mutants as a faction are pretty religious, they are shiners (or at least some of them). Maybe something like Shadowsoldier or Shadowhunter? Just think...

My suggestion, since you have mutants as a side, try to use the word "mutant" in the unit names as less frequent as possible. Better if you'd get rid of it completely. Then your mod will look much more original.
