How do I use the Renegade GMAX gamepack?

Those tutorials have absolutely nothing to do with my question. I installed everything as I'm supposed to and I just don't know how to start the gamepack.

lol, u copt the gmax shortcut to sumwhere, and u and a command in the target bar

sumthing liek -gmax, but i dont know, when id installed it, i clicked "create shortcut"

this is from the shordcut thing to renx (one line):

Target:
%GMAXLOC%gmax.exe -a gamepacks\WestWood\RenX\splash.bmp -i gamepacks\WestWood\RenX\gmax.ini -p gamepacks\WestWood\RenX\plugin.ini

Start in:
%GMAXLOC%

I belive %GMAXLOK% is a system location to gmax folder?

I fixed it myself. The error I was getting was something like 'Path Incorrect'.

Dont use GMAX. You cant use any of the models you create. Unless you register it.

wtf are you talking about, Tapek? GMAX is a free program and you can use your models for your mods for free, but you have to register to use GMAX...

Unless you BUY it, you cant USE the models you make in a game.

if you wanna create a game, then you have to buy it and it will come with much more stuff, including 3D Studio Max...

Gmax is free.

But, if you import a model from a game, and edit it, you will not be able to SAVE that model as anything but .GMAX which is not compatible with any game.

However, if you BUY gmax, get the NON-FREE version, it will allow you to save that model in another format.
