[RA2 YR] War? (2-4)
hi, this is my first map i put on the internet. i hope you like it.
it is a urban island. with 2 canals cutting the island in 3 parts. a cliff seperates the 2 players on the largests piece. there is a tunnel and some other nice things from TX, so it is required for this map. you can find it here: http://tx.cannis.net/?p=home
i also have some pics from the level when i was testing it vs 3 brutal AI.
EDIT: oh, sh*t, i put in the wrong section, can anyone please move it to the ra2 map forum

Description:
the more rich part of the city, under control by lybia
Place one Airport in the middle so that it's a blood fest to try to get it before your enemy does or:
Place two Airports, one near one player and one near the other.
The map itself seems a bit bland as I would say... there's nothing to make it different, or give me the feeling I'm fighting in a real city.. most of 2 buildings next to each other are the same.
Also scrap Iwo Jima statue, it's not based on a real city. It's like having the Empire State Building in a small American town if you get what I'm saying.
Use different kinds of tiles too, in maps the little things mean the most.
But we've all got to start somewhere, practise makes perfect. _________________

I don't like it. It's not used to the best of RA2's abilities. There are hundreds of civilian buildings. use them. A variety is always good. plus... this is the Tiberian Sun forum. _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT
looks nice, but I fear that Kremlin Walls and Towers around the airports are a little bit... emm... weird I think. Soviet or any other wall would be better... IMHO of course =)
Iwo Jima here? I'll blow it up with pleasure _________________

Marco: So you rigged the OFF button with a tear gas grenade? Ho ho ho, you magnificent bastard!
Sparks: Oh, that's nothin', man. The ON button is a 50-megaton hydrogen bomb.
