After an idea from One of a kind i conducte tests into using the Firestorm defence charging logic on other superweapons in RA2. Here's the results.
The superweapon works as normal, it charges up then you click to fire it. But, and this is where it gets interesting, after you have fired it it continues to 'de-charge'. During this time you can click the icon again, this will allow you to aim the weapon again but it continues to 'de-charge' firing the weapon in this state will not actually fire it but reverse the charge so that it charges back to ready again. Firing it one more time will unleash the superweapon again. So, 1 click to aim, 2 clicks to recharge and 3 clicks to fire, in this way it is possible to have an unlimited charge on all superweapons, here's a few pictures of the paradrop and what happened when i used the anthrax bomb (red generals superweapon) on them afterwards. Enjoy, my comp suffered terrible lag to get these pictures so have fun.

Hey that looks really kool, but i don't understand what you did to make that work. You should make a tutorial on it.

Its simple i just addded the code
Code:
UseChargeDrain=true
to the superweapon code e.g.

Code:
[ParaDropSpecial]
UIName=Name:Para
Name=Paratrooper Drop
IsPowered=false
RechargeVoice=
ChargingVoice=
ImpatientVoice=
SuspendVoice=
RechargeTime=4
Type=ParaDrop
Action=ParaDrop
SidebarImage=PARAICON
ShowTimer=yes
DisableableFromShell=no
UseChargeDrain=true

LOL! Hey, that's awesome. Replace the Seals with GI's and it'll be balanced.

The seal's are GI equivalents in RedGen Tapek, we're using the Seal image for the ranger as it looks better than the GI image.
