i've been waiting for this day.

wishlist of several other modders and me :
*including stuff from this topic*, besides the stuff you have listed
different mcv for the third side
fixed air transports
added armor types
air combat?*it should be possible*
larger explosion radius limit ? *because animation debris really tends to be buggy*
custom mix for third side
custom sidebar for third side
perhaps use the RA2 code for elitesecondary and eliteprimary ?
perhaps a third ai for the third side ?
death weapons*or at least warheads*
additional movement types*like track,foot,float etc*

But in TS many hardcoded like:

The pallete doesnt load. and whenever i try dropship loadout it wont give
me vehicles those slots will turn up empty. like i took 3 light infantry, and
2 wolverines. I only got 3 light infantry, no wolverines.

i assume adding full third side compatibility will be a bitch then, though it should be doable with quite some hard work

also your code means a bunch of emp-like weapon launching supers ?
if so, excellent, many mods would benefit from that

i have two sugestions, make the walls like in ra2 where you can make a line of like 5, and mabye make it so you can make a weapon that can fire underground, like for a deffense wall likw the firestorm.

where can i get a program so i can edit ts and ra2? cause i have done some editing in school but it was a very old program that couldent even do two things at once.

I find what TS have more hard code stuff than in YR
Droppod infantry are define as E1 and E2
I want to extend sections up to 128 kb, because 64kb I think rather small Very Happy
If I add SIDEC03.MIX it mean what all: radar, cameos images can be customize for third side Smile
Main tasks:
- Add load screens (already done)
- Add SIDEC03.MIX support
- Add custom weapon to MultiMissile

Thought you need to sacrifice either the Hunter-Seeker, the Multi-Missile or the EMP Cannon to do one Wink.

Anyways, i'll edit it since i thought of something better Smile

Also, removed Spy Plane from the RA2 SW list, since if he can do an Airstrike, give it a dummy weapon and it works like a spyplane Wink

Is it posible to "add on" the ra2 gameMD engine to TS? That will perhaps soulve a lot of problems, or?

BTW, this is something I want to ask: Change MAX Reselution to 1024x768 or more. that is the ONLY reason that i mod more on RA2 than TS Very Happy

ah but remember, he said he was working on other weapon supers, so that means meteors won't be a problem for you or me :3, in fact, one can ignore the multimissile super etc entirely
only reason to use em would be the launch sounds

Tyler, Dont be foolish. Dropships would perhaps be the best addition to TS, and most yearned for. If only you couldnt have them deliver goody crates.... Neutral

BTW, You think clones of the Drop Pods would be wonderful, with tags to change the infantry(DropPod I Infantry=E1,E2, and so on.) What about getting the 'firing' animations like RA2 had for the supeweapons(EMP,Firestorm Def, and Missile Silos had one) working?

congrats CNCVK, hacking TS is what we need. PD was planning on it but he is busy atm, maybe it would be good for you to talk to him about alot of things? he has lots of knowlage on the whole CNC TS/RA2 engine and the way it works. anyways good luck and may the force be with you Wink

Two quick suggestions, Can you make two types of auto-heal tags? Like a 50% (ts) and a 100% (RA2)? Also, how about real custom .mix files for modders? Right now we have to rename exsiting ones. Thanks!

can't be done with TS/FS ?
i wouldn't mention it when it could be done in any way.
if this promising possibility to add features and bring this as well it would make skirmish games a bit more funnier, unless all TS players are colorblind, sorry.
also i think it floats with the gameplay stuff you said mr ice #Tongue

People asking for the working dropship.. I'm assuming this is like transport logic found in RA2, where units have a certain amount of pips, allowing transports to carry units and infantry.

This I think would require far too much coding?
Adding an additional variable to units, stating their "size" in pips.
I could be wrong, it could be easy.. but I think that there is a lot that needs to be worked to get this single feature to work.

Having a working ordinary air transport (flying APC, per-se, carrying infantry only) is a bit more realistic, as it was doable in the pre-patch version of TS, and potentially findable to correct.

i'm fairly sure "upgradeable units" would be a bitch to code in assembly

also O_o at meteor storm
you couldn't randomly have made a superweapon type that dumps animations in different locations could you, because it seems troublesome

Hey, that's impressive skills. I did just notice your sig, C&CVK, and I'm just wondering: What happened to RP 1.08??? He said a early June release on the page, and I just am curious. It's backing up progress on YR: TS.

BTW, C&CVK, what methods of Type=MeteorStorm would work? Would this be something where you could change it? Or would it be a hardcode?

No, I'm pretty certain you are making a mistake as to what people want - which is fully working air transports as there is no way to have a fully working one without many glitches in TS.

Pretty much everyone is aware of the dropship loadout feature making much of your post redundant.

Now it hard coded, but you can change meteor entries in ART.INI

And how bout changing Tech level and Credits amount on DropShip screen?

P.S. Can u check out what is "Treat Raiting Node" actually do. There is a lot of speculations around it.

P.P.S. OH! I have idea. Can u attach this Dropship screen to dropship bay structure. I mean Dropship screen can be called by click on building. #Tongue

Could it be made useable for a faction? Build a structure(Say a D.shp bay), every few minutes the D.shp loadout screen comes up and lets you order new stuff?

C-17 Nod Cargo Plane-Actual, physical unit coming in, dropping off the purchased vehicle, and then leaving. uncontrollable by player.

"Plane" logic-There's no other way to actually put this. Planes that takeoff and land like non-VTOL craft on a building different from the Helicopter Pad. Only they can land on "airfields", only Helis on a Helipad.
