normals are not copies properly when you copy a cross section, and if you are in normals mode, the colours are copied wrong too.

Thanks for reporting a VXLSE III. I knew copy and pasted was bugged, but not that much #Tongue. Btw, pay attention to the forum you post at... you've accidentally posted on OS SHP Builder Bug Reporting, but I'm moving it to the right place.

I think I know what you mean, well, with me, when C&Ping, the colours change sometimes from (for example) 16# to 17#, or one colour scheme "lower".

also, normals and colours SHOULD be copied seperatly, or atleast make it optional to be copied together.
when i copy and paste(in VXLSE II v2.1SE, i want C&P to work just like it did in that version), i usually copy a sheet of normals onto a different colour sheet, or copy both then recolour afterwards.

(BTW, date difference is just because, this is how often i visit ppm)

I'll see what I can do... but I'm not planning to work on it in this year anymore...

also see my post in your development topic, it details how things worked in VXLSE II v2.1SE a little more.

Hey guys, I've just reviewed this topic and there are somethings that can be fixed and some that won't.

The 'copy' feature simply makes an image with the colour of your main view or its normals and put this image in the clipboard. So, I can't make something like a copy normals + colours with it. If I did it, I would distort every image that doesn't come from VXLSE III (although the way it works isn't much user friendly for external images).

But I've noticed a problem in the code that would distort the value of some normals and this should be fixed on VXLSE III 1.3. So, the normals should be copied correctly now.
