here's a unit that will make the backbone of any Brotherhood of Steel fighting force.... The Paladin Brother.

Overview:
The Paladins give the Brotherhood it's fighting strength. Armored with T-51b (former) United States Standard Issue Infantry Power Armor, The Paladins can wade across the battlefield shrugging off seemingly misguided attacks. The Power Armor gives the Paladin Brothers enhanced strength, enabling them to carry heavy weapons and more ammunition.

In my mod, the Paladin Brothers will come in various types:
> AT Paladin (armed with a dragon man packed AT rocket launcher)
> Assault Paladin (armed with a minigun)
> Assault Paladin (armed with plasma rifle)
> Templar (armed with a Super Sledge)

I know my version of the T-51b power armor looks like crap compared to the original Van Burren model Laughing , but cut me some slack... I'm a newbie modeller, and it's not like it's going to matter much being zoomed almost to 10% Very Happy

credits: to Black Isle Studios and the original Fallout team for the Fallout games, the power armor concept and image, No Mutants Allowed for the picture I'm modelling after, and...... yes, Interplay Rolling Eyes even if you sold the Fallout franchise to Bethesda Mad

whew! I am very happy with the results! I've just finished boning the Paladin Brother and this is how one looks in his/her power armor!

I know there are several clipping errors... but pardon me it's my first (successful) human model Very Happy . at last, I've created a decent human model... the first ones I made look like a crossbreed of a stick figure and an omelette Laughing .

pardon the mock-up gun... I'm too tired to model a nice looking gun Smile

so, I'll see you in four days!

last question before I retire....

Ok, so I tried how it'll look in ts, and it's.... well.... tall. very tall, probably 8-9 feet high.

do you think it's ok? it's power armor after all Smile

Hmm, with that size they'd be perfect for RA2. For TS, 25% should do it.

But there is something wrong with the direction they are standing and they have no shadows yet. Maybe they look strange because of that?

Still, very, very good for first attempt IVI. You get a cookie!
