No idea and I won't install Vista here. I hate Windows Vista, to be honest. Heavy, buggy and DRM and these tmp files are greek to me... errr... actually, greek is easier than that Laughing. Honestly, try running on compatibility mode and see if it works.

I have found a sulation!

After some checking and testing, I have found that VSE III works from the installer, by checking "startt VSE III" So if you could make a "dummy install" with only that command (since the files are there, and the regestry is fine) that problem is now gone.

Oh, and BTW, I am hveing the same problem with VV and HVA builder...
SHP builder works almoast, geting an I/O error, not quite shore, but sam "fix" shoud work here as well Question

@ sarpedon
I am sorry to tell you, but last time I tryed to install XP in adittion to vista, I had to re-install EVERYTHING!, But if you know of a good virtuell PC with DeamonTolls suport, pleace, tell me #Tongue

That's a good tip. This means that once the settings are modified, there is some code with a doubtfull quality. I can try double check what the program does in its first time and see if there is anything that deserves more attention, but since I can't test it, there is a big chance I won't sort a damn thing. I have no access with any machine with Vista. Also, it's interesting to know that it also happens with OS:VV and OS:HVA Builder, so I can analyse what do they have in common. So far my suspects lies on UPHPS Updater support.

It is the same for all!:
OS Voxel Section Editor III 36
OS HVA Builder
OS Voxel Viever

And I have tested to start a copy of VSE III before I colse the "install" one, but same error over and over again. BTW, I can test, cos I have vista #Tongue PM me!

I will try the VSE III 2c ass well, to see if the error is in the new voxel-engin (I hope not)

Problem is solved.
Download here Voxel Section Editor III 1.36 U.
(This is only EXE file, replace your vxlse_III.exe by it)

Windows Vista compatible.

@Banshee:
If you want, I can send yo you sources.
Only one problem: it for BDS 2006 (but you can replace only PAS files).
Also if you want you can upload it on your site.
BTW Why you don't change anything in help, except title? Very Happy
Run it and see: Application Version: 1.0 Smile

Oh VK, why must you change all the buttons? Rolling Eyes They were fine the way they were Confused And could you change the 'load voxel' icon? Make it so it looks like a folder rather than just a blank piece of paper Smile

But I wanna know what did you do to fix it. So, please, send me the source.

He added XP Theming. The program now uses your current desktop theme for the buttons. Which is what all programs should do. Banshee probably just doesn't know how to activate it.

Don't like - don't use this program.
This program ONLY for Windows Vista (tm) users.

I know that... I was talking about TX1138 complaining about the buttons. Nothing to do with errors.
