Subject description: enhancing the Harrier

For the map I'm making I want to adjust the Harrier's abilities:

1) make it so it can carry 3 bombs (instead of just 1)
2) give it a secondary weapon to attack air targets (only)
- I would prefer the 2nd weapon to be a machine gun type
- and I want the second weapon to be infinite (so it doesn't have to reload like the bombs)

Everything else can stay the same. How would you do this? (If there is a way...)

A TS modder like me would say:

1) Ammo=3
2) impossible
-Possible, using the Secondary= tag
-IIRC the Ammo= tag affects both Primary and secondary weapons

2 is possible with.. umm.. some version of the RP. I think. If it hasn't been considered "illegal" & all downloads destroyed.. Rolling Eyes

you can do 2 by using the jumpjet locomotor.

Okay, thanks for the help.

Now I'm looking into making a new plane (completely new unit) so do you think you could give me the list of the Harrier's original INI codes? (the really long list) Then I can tweek the codes to what I like but I need something to start with.

Actually, could someone also give me a link to a site that lists ALL the YR units and their original INI codes so I don't have to ask this kind of question again. (If there is a site like that...)

If you google "YR INI files" or just get XCC and extract them yourself, you'll have them. Smile

Okay, I got the files, thanks for the help. Smile

Now, earlier in the discussion, I asked about using a secondary weapon to attack units in a different MovementZone. (I was hoping for AA combat. but it seems dogfights are just too complicated so I'm letting it go)

But now I have a different use for the secondary weapon. Is there a way(with the harrier) to make it so it attacks vehicles and buildings with its primary, but attack infantry with is secondary?

you have to adjust the warheads so the secondary weapon does more damage than the primary and the har has to use the jj locomotor
