First of all, read our bible on how to start a great mod HERE and HERE. Make sure it has a topic in the Mod Announcements forum (HERE).

Now that you have the basic steps done, let's get more clear on how we host projects here.

First of all, we host creative projects based on Command & Conquer games (all of them). Creative projects are:

-> Modifications.
-> Campaigns.
-> Tools.
-> Patches and game engines.

We do not host fan sites inside PPM. In this case, go to Revora.

For the hosted mods, we offer:

-> Forums with subforums.
-> FTP space for a site (yoursite.ppmsite.com or your domain, as long as you buy it).
-> SVN repository (we'll offer it in few weeks, since it's still on beta stages).

And with that, we follow the following advantages:

-> As many subforums as you wish, including staff forums, where YOU decide who goes in or not.
-> News exporting ability for your site through phpbbFetchAll.
-> Publicity for your project, as you do some progress with it.

Now, what do we need in order to provide hosting for your project:

Commitment:

-> We want to be able to play the mods that we host, therefore, we want to see them released one day. If you don't think you'll be able to ask hosting here or if it looks like a temporary project, please, do not ask hosting here.
-> We want projects with a proper presentation.

Forums:

-> Each forum and subforum has a name and a description.

I.e.:
- Name: Return of the Dawn (TS to TD Total Conversion)

- Description: Never played the original C&C that started it all? Or ever wanted to play it with better graphics, Skirmish mode and other improvements? Then this is what you've been searching for.

Make sure that we know every subforum that you want, each of them with an appropriate description. This is part of the presentation of your mod to public.

Site:

We need to know the url that you want for it (mysubdomain.ppmsite.com) and a password. If you want us to generate a random password, few free to ask it. Make sure you don't use this password anywhere else, for your own safety.

SVN:

SVN control pannel is under construction and may work together with Revora Creative Network. So you'll probably need an account over there.

A minor question, when it comes to asking for hosting, where do we do it? In the mods post in Mod Announcements, via a PM to a member or posting in a dedicated topic?

If you would like a project hosted there are several ways of getting it done however what Banshee mentioned above must apply and evidence of your mod must be seen.

- You may be asked if you want hosting if you have already shown progress and work in the Mod Announcements Forum in your mods thread.

- You may approach a staff member via a PM to forward your request for hosting however you must, as said before show evidence of work on your project before that can be considered.
