March 2nd, 1989

The following is a transcript from EXPE-4, which recovered the only remaining communications log found in "Communications Center 2-C" a derelict radar building standing almost sixty miles south of Atqasuk, Alaska. Comments by Colonel Frank Faust, USAF and the Expedition team are labeled in red. Faust found the derelict building on the second test flight of the <DELETED>. It is assumed that this is a transscript of received transmissions during the Great World War 2.

As you are obviously aware, America was never directly involved with the European struggle versus the USSR. Therefore, this document has been marked TOP SECRET by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Look, I want to get something straight. I know about G-Dubbya-Dubbya Two. My father flew XBOW convoys into Greece when our European friends were getting their asses handed to them by the Pinks. What we found out there today defies explanation. Honest to God, that was a Pinko radar station in it's prime sitting in the middle of Freeze your Nuts off Alaska. It didn't even have a spec of snow on it!

The following is translated from it's original Russian recording

--There is a massive burst of static over the speaker.--

MALE A: ACH! That is the fifth tube we've blown in four hours! What the hell is our engineering team doing up there?

MALE B: Do not worry about what they are doing. Worry about your own damn station! Do I need to remind you what will happen if anyone gets the faintest hint of our presence?

MALE A: We will die.

MALE B: And it won't be by the hands of the Americans, either.

--Another burst of static. Something hits the ground in the distance--

MALE A: ...And that's four more to replace.

--A door seems to be slammed open--

MALE C: They are ready!

MALE B: Yes Sergi!

MALE A: Great, just great. What is it they are doing?

MALE B: Liberating great technologies from Capitalist pigs. If this works we will have nothing to worry about.

MALE A: And if it doesn't?

MALE B: Then... <silence>

INTERCOM: Three

INTERCOM: Two

INTERCOM: One

--There is a loud rush of air in the distance. The tape goes quiet.--

There isn't anything around the 'dome, either. It's like it just... appeared out of thin air. It's still there... though good luck finding it after a few good Alaskan storms.

Can you remember anything else?

Yeah... one other thing. Bodies, or the lack thereof. There was a freshly brewed cup of coffee on the desk and chairs were simply pushed against the desks as if someone had been sitting in them moments earlier. It's as if they were abducted or something.

As you may know, American forces encountered Soviet forces in 1963 in the <DELETED> areas of Alaska. The outcome of these battles are code black TOP SECRET. Therefore, <DELETED>

Alex Granger, Brigadier General, USAF

Red Europe is a mod for Command & Conquer 3 that takes place during the Great World War 2 of Red Alert. While we all know about the major battles that took place on the European front through Germany, Greece, Poland and into Russia itself... what about the missions behind the scenes?

Take control of the most powerful armies in the world as you are taken to battles ranging from the Europe to Asia and even the Americas themselves. Take control of the most amazing technologies of the time as you become acquainted with old favorites and new weapons of mass destruction.

Command British, German, Russian, Chinese, French and even American forces in the battles that determine the outcome of World War 2.

But don't fret! I'm not totally stomping on Red Alert in my own Utopian vision. At most the new sides will have a new unit that replaces an older one (Toying with the idea of, say, giving the British SAS units in replacement of Tanya and Marines in replacement of infantry for Americans.)

Now, I have some images of the very beginning of the mod. It ain't much... but it's a start. Getting models into C&C3 is turning out to be a big, big pain.

More information and screenshots soon.

And now get rid of that ugly "EArium" hole...

Btw, Ore needs more contrast and then it'll be perfect...

THe infantry are a little too futuristic, remember that Red alert was supposed to be in the 50s (albeit an alternate, more advanced 50s); so Flak jackets and M16s even for the special forces, if the GDI didn't have high-tech armour by the first tibwar then how come it's here?

I really like the power plant, it definitely reminds me of the RA one, however the medium tank looks too like an abrams, I always saw them as M60s (in the cutscenes they had rounded turret fronts and an abrams would be half way between a heavy tank and a mammoth so it's a little overpowered for a medium tank; like the model though.

Just suggesting, it's constructive criticism, you don't have to listen and if you like You can get a moderator to delete my post and I won't protest.

You know, he hasn't changed the infantry yet, right?

I don't think hes added everything yet in any case...

Anyway, this mods looking damn good. Keep up the excellence.

gonna use the old classic mine shaft or the corkscrew device from RA2? just wondering...maybe both. ^_^

Finally, a RA1 mod
It has been long since I've seen one of these...

a small hint: At the time of your mod, there were no Russians. We were Soviets.

Really? My silly American teachings fail me.

In any case, I gleefully announce that... we have forums!
