CNC 3 can't find the sample mod

I have followed the explanation found on this site: http://cnc3modsdk.instant-wiki.net/index.php/Getting_Started

When CNC 3 couldn't find the sample mod I compiled I reinstalled the SDK to the default directory in the CNC3 folder and followed the steps again but it still can't find the MOD.

What gives???

What is the error, if any?
Does the mod simply not show ingame, or is there an error upon loading.

Also, what Level of Detail do you have ingame. If you have anything below high, there is a known issue which causes mods to not appear.

There are no errors, and I have set my games graphics to high, its simply not there under the MOD tab in the game browser.

Have you made an SKUDef file like it says in the manual?

Thanks CNC 3 can find the MOD now but it keeps crashing when I try to run it. When I compile the MOD I it gives me an error saying a file is missing.

Error: Input file 'art:shadowi.xml' not found (referenced from file://f:\cc3 mod sdk\cnc3xml\baseobjects\baseinfantry.xml). Treating it as empty. Confused

Those errors doesn't matter, but do you get any critical errors (they will have the 'Critical:' prefix)?
