Structures on water (e.g. Shipyard)?

Is there a way to realize that we can build a building (e.g. Shipyard) on water?

Well, have you tried looking at the code for the Scrin Spore Pod? It is placed on a blank space. Usually Tib. field spawning areas are nothingness (meaning there's no texture at all underneath that area, it's a hole) where you put the crashed meteor, and then you build a Spore Pod on it. This might work. You might also want to look at the ship crane or even the Oceanic Oil Platform...Their coding might help alot.
