UPDATE 27th: I've uploaded a hotfix for the SSM, I accidently left a test weapon enabled. Download is right below the ROTD 2.7 download.

The first update to RotD in a long time has been released today.
This is the version meant to be played on the PPM Plays Festival on the 28th.

Download

RotD 2.7/Christmas Edition contains some updates to graphics, sound and code. This is not the 'real deal' yet that RotD 3.0 will be, instead 2.7 is rather meant to be a gap-filler until 3.0 is ready.

Since 2.7, as stated above, fixes some bugs and improves some graphics compared to 2.6/2.61, I recommend to play with this version instead of 2.61 from now on.

Before you install this, please remove any older version of RotD to prevent any problems!

And now - have fun and a Merry Christmas Smile

-Reaperrr

Well, if it wasn't for the PPM Plays Festival, I would've skipped 2.7 altogether.

That's also the reason why some stuff from the internal betas was not included Wink

Btw, I've been making some progress with the new main feature of 3.0. You'll all like it, I'm sure of it Smile

Alright, I downloaded 2.7 and the hotfix, but I get the "TS failed to initialize. Please reinstall" error. I put in placeholder mixes in case you used ETS, and it still didn't work. Any other ideas? Usual TS works fine.

Are you using a Firestorm disk to run the mod? When I tried that, it gave me the same message.

Yes. Let me try my TS CD then...

Tried the Nod disc and it didn't work. Then I tried the GDI disk.. and it worked. Strange thing.

Thanks. Smile

hm... strange thing indeed.

when you've got time, go to the TS directory you installed ROTD in, and make 2 copies of the mapr01.mix and rename one to mapr02.mix and one to mapr03.mix, and see if that solves the problem with the Nod & FS discs.

Reapy, i think ROTD might have to use HP, the debugging feature would be nice for this Wink

Don't work with firestorm cd.. I created 2 copies renamed them like whished still the same bug.

I search now for my ts cd..

It's definitely a bug you should get rid of it.

That is a problem with my mods exe to the solution is to rename Dawn.exe to gamemd.exe and it should work (hyper told me that that dll only looks for game and gamemd exe not custem ones)
