The Forces of the Allied nations rely on superior training and Information, in a 1v1 battle most allied units will trump their Soviet opponents. However this does not always hold true, a Soviet medium tank will demolish a light tank and a Mammoth will easily destroy an MBT. In situations like these an allied Commander must learn to use his brain, he can't ever amass more men or better Tanks tanks than his opponent, but he can use the resources at his disposal to even the odds. Commanders are actively encouraged to find new ingenious ways to level the field and eventually stack the odds in their favour. Carpet bombing of key facilities, ambushing of armour in urban areas, hit and run attacks on isolated formations, battlefield espionage to better prepare his forces. These are just some of the tactics available to a skilled allied commander.

The Allied Nations dominate the seas, one monopoly they have maintained. Destroyer taskforces and carrier air support could turn many a battle in an Allied commander's favour, if soviet Naval aviation doesn't get there first...

The Soviet Union

The mighty armies of the Motherland will crush any opposition in a straight fight, waves of conscripted infantry supported by ripple fired artillery rockets. Seperating then crushing fortified positions with Heavy armour and attrition attacks on naval convoys using submarines and naval aviation. The motherland might not always win, but for the Red army a draw is just as good, they have more chances.

Dutchy edit: fixed spelling... Thanx for informing Destiny Wink

Thanks Dutchy, and Destiny. No The tank battlese aren't tit for tat, the soviets have a support tank that fires anti personnel HE shells and the allies have a specialised Anti armour strike aircraft in the A10 (4 missiles, does 2/3 damage to a war miner with all of them but flies low-level so is vulnerable to AA, althoug the sucker's armoured like a small tank. The russians have a MiG that will have a less specialised anti-armour role, it's more of a general attack aircraft, it'll suck against ships though and the soviets will have a specialised anti-naval plane, ever wonder what the badger was really for?).
