Right now I'm not going for voxels I'm just testing stuff out first till I get the hang of things so I'd like them to look good also I might be using Gmax for an art assignment so I'll need skins, and textures.

I dont have(and probably will never) have generals, so that isn't a big help unless you could get em for me.

by the way, what use would be an art assignment in gmax when it cannot render? and as far as i've figured out you need autocad to export it into 3dmax..

another thing, flyby's script doesn't work in gmax, no export feature and also, and because of that you can't use the listener either..

oh, and texturing is pretty simple once you get the hang of it, the only hard part is coming up with good ones... read the built in tut's (if you downloaded them) and there should be some about texturing!

Ok heres a better question since I wasn't getting anywhere with the last question. I need to know what programs I need to make 3d models and then convert to TS. I am doing an art project which is open media. I want to make a few new graphics and put them in TS and then take screenshots of them doing stuff.

umm, GMAX has been hard for me, i wantta add some textures to my first creation, now you guys can't use it, uless you want a giant soda can in the mod, but i would like to know if i can make my own texture and apply it to the friggen can, i'll make a screeny when its done, so you guys could collapse with laughter, and another thing is that I have adobe photoshop 6.0 and i can't resize images without croping it, which blows, cuz it would take forever to load a small image, that is really fucken huge. anyway, I would apreciate your help

thank you,
