The F-16 Falcon was designed as a low cost lightweight fighter capable
of performing basic air defense task. Unlike its counterpart, the MiG-29, the F-16 is far more maneuverable at low speeds making it a flexable, surivable combat aircraft than just relying on pure speed and power.
