something possessed me to work a bit today and so here it is:

the Fire support paladin is almost finished, so I started work on the main model for all soldiers.

notes:
this model will be used for all human soldiers not wearing a power armor.

I'll just be outfitting it with various armor and weapons to suit what faction it's for.

once it's done I'll start working on NCR troops.

comments welcome

Nice! At least you're getting used to make human models. #Tongue

moar progress!

ok, my interest has been really sparked up so I'm on a roll here. Very Happy . I'm glad with the way this guy's turning up.

what do you think? also, should we put hair on this guy or should we leave him bald like Cassidy?

Info: he's wearing leather armor.

by the way, I'm planning to make the soldiers a bit more identifiable with which faction fields them. I.e., I plan to make:

NCR soldiers > Leather armor, combat armor
Vault City Automous Republic soldiers > metal armor
BOS soldiers> T-51b, combat armor
Enclave soldiers> Adv. Power Armor, combat armor
Raiders > Leather armor

now, as you can see some factions have soldiers that wear the same kind of armor. can anyone suggest anything to differentiate one faction's soldiers from another if they're wearing the same armor?

example, I plan to make Raiders' leather armor to be a bit more tattered (kinda like the way they are in Fallout Tactics).

suggestions welcome (and needed Very Happy )

remap location.

Shoulder pads, tunics, chest pads, pants, backpacks, helmets. Then each can have a specfic "shade" for a colour scheme. I haven't played fallout, but maybe one side can be drk greu, andother dark brown, or dark green.

For that guy I'd suggest either making the pants or the shoulder pads remap, otherwise I dunno.

oh yeah, I don't know how good you are with modeling 3d fabric, but you could go midieval japan all over your units and have a flag attached to their backpacks.
