So I was thinking about them. They're possible, but they weren't exactly present in red alert 1 and 2. So, should I include them?

if I did, I was thinking about making the country specific units of ra2 be some of those options (like the grand cannon, desolator and stuff). Aftermath units and heck, even Uprising units could also be accessed this way.

Then there are other little abilities that can be employed, like spy planes and such (so like, spy plane, parabombs, paratroopers...). These could serve as the bulk of the powers, but I need some level 5s....

I was suggested (by dutchy) that the iron curtain be made a level 5 support power, and thast a good idea. But I was thinking that maybe spawning a boat would be an awesome power. Image spawning a Dreadnaught or Missile Sub, and using it like the destroyer in the ZH campaign.

Any other ideas?

Support powers...

Allies:
Level 1: Grand Cannon, Radar Scan, Sniper, Paradrop(American),
Level 2: Prism Tech, Spectrum Tech, Airstrike, Teleport Reinforcments, Tank Destroyer, Black Eagle
Level 3: Chronosphere, Laser Uplink

Soviet:
Level 1: Paradrop, Spy Plane
Level 2: Terrorist, Autorepair, Parabombs, Desolator, Bomb truck, Tesla Tank,
Level 3: Iron Curtain, Missile Strike

Only one Inf unit can be chosen by the sides (terrorist or Desolator for soviet, Sniper or Paradrop for Allies), same with Vehicles. Not sure if the Spectrum Tech will be in, but that will be up to you #Tongue

In RA you had parabombs, paradrop, spyplane but that was quite it.

I do think you should include the support powers though. Even if there aren't that much for the RA sides. Wink

I think I'll have different support power trees for the different sub factions.

But basically, I was thinking it would look like:

Level 1
Spy Plane, Shock Trooper, Tesla Tank
Level 3
Paradrop1,2,3 Parabomb1,2,3 MAD Tank
Level 5
Missile Sub

Level 1
Spy Plane, Terrorist, Desolator
Level 3
MiG Strike1,2,3 Tesla Tank, Demo Truck
Level 5
Force Field, Dreadnaught

Level 1
Cash Bounty, Desolator, Mortar Cycle
Level 3
Desolator Strike1,2,3 Grinder Tank, Reaper
Level 5
Orbital Downpoor

Did you manage to get parabombs in skirmish, or multiplayer? By default its not, I don't think, only in some missions.

Oh. I was hoping someone new how to code them in to Skirmish. I mean you can make the badger bomber, I briefly did that; couldn't select the unit. I could probably fix that though.

Hey, don't forget the Spy Satellite for Allies. That could easily be a reveal shroud power, or reveal the entire map for a limited time.
