Im plannig to relase my mod before going into the Estonian army but dont count on that.
About my mod
I called it Tiberian sun 2.05 because I want to improve the looking of TS.
Changes in rules and art.ini, new graphics,sounds and maps are things what I have done so far. Story is the same as in original TS. There will be also alot of civilian stuff.

Why plan a mod that's been done and died during development so many times before? Plus you mention not having the time to do all of it.

I think it is great what you are doing, honestly.

-making assets yourself
(a lot of these enhancement mods just use all public assets, but since you seem to be making some of your own, it makes your mod more unique. Don't get me wrong, a lot of public assets are okay but a lot of the time a mod is 100% like that x_x)

-not going ahead for a full TC-like mod, but starting something much more likely to finish. Since you say you are limited on time.

EDIT: just asking about missions now
Q: Will it have new missions, maybe even a small campaign?

Nice, but the Mammoth's turret seems a bit oversized compared to the rest of it, and its color looks bleak. I also believe the Mammoth and Medium tank give the impression that they lack some detail, perhaps giving them a "desert camo" texture would help improve this.

Overall, very nice work!

Even if all the stuff look nice,size is a bit of a problem for me.

That mammoth doesn't look too big.Nor scary.In fact,it reminds me of the mammoth in RA1(Mammoth was it?)

I hope not for the Artillery. It fucks up the AI. The AI just deploys three and never uses them, for starters, and its just a gimmick for deploying units. The artillery should be like the old C&C Artillery, slow and light, but deadly.

It should, but as Volgin said, it can be a bit useless.

Something different would be more interesting, though... personally I'd go by Volgin's advice (slow undeployable artillery) if I wanted to make a mod more innovative.

Again, I'll suggest the same for the Juggernaught on the principle that it looks bloody ridiculous when it deploys, and for the AI reasons. I changed the Juggernaught around in a private mod to make it mimic Tiberium Wars' incarnation (rather then firing shells into the sky and having them shoot down, it acts like ... what it is, a walking battleship.), jacked up the cost and put it to tier 3, but it proved much more effective then the pile of crap in FS.

Its a shame really, the deploying gimmick is really just a gimmick and doesn't do much to enhance units. Rather it just slows gameplay down and makes AI use of said units pointless.

Thank god it doesn't deploy! But it looks ztyping awesome. Screams Renegade to me, in a good way.

Its kind of hard to see where the turret is supporting the cannon. Do you think you can make that a little darker maybe or remap it more? Maybe its just me though.

Wow, Nod units look really cool now. Good job! Perhaps the Harvester should have less black, as the red-black-green scheme makes for odd contrasts that don't seem very good to me.

The Nod logo on that truck doesn't look right... as if the points at the sides of the logo are actually in the middle of the height. Can we have a side view of that?
