Ok, I am trying to make a mod that is going to require a lot of AI triggers from the map, and I am having a lot of problems getting it to work. So maybe I can ask if there is any one willing to help me out.

What I need...
*1 map 50x50
-No need for any terrain editing
*2 starting spots (Northwest and Southeast corners)
-Starting location #1 Player
-Starting location #2 AI
*AI does not build a base
-It starts off with a weapon factory on the map or builds it some how... (I guess just use triggers to remove AI's MCV then just use a change house trigger on a weapon factory giving it to the AI)
*1 AI trigger that forces AI to build 1 basic tank from its weapon factory and attack an enemy (would be even better if you could add a few more just to help me understand how this works)

I know this sounds easy but... I just can not get the AI to do anything... They just sit there...

Is the AI building the units from weapon factory needed for what you are doing? Because it would be very easy to just spawn units you want at the weapons factory with triggers.

I have never really tried editing the AI for the map, I always did everything with triggers, although I could have a look tomorrow if no one else can help before me to see if I can work it out.

I really want the units to be produced by the AI. Just like the AI was building them. Not just spawn them magically.

If its a single player map then what if you put the conyard outside the visible map section. If the war factory builds just light tank then I would figure you need to place the buildings that give the higher end tanks outside the visible area too.

Would it be ok if I could do a method of the AI to enable and act normally but only have a war factory? so he would build and attack with units with however set in the AI.ini? Because I am quite sure I can do this.

Edit : Ill have a look to see if I can do it any other ways, but this would defiantly be the easiest way.

Edit 2: Ain't used the final alert 2 in ages, just tried to reinstall and it seems to always crash at same installation point and I cannot work out why. But I can give instructions On how to do what I suggested if you think its suitable for your needs, if not I guess someone else will have to help...
