Wasnt really sure where to post this so I figured this was the most appropriate place., but I'm seriously thinking about partnering up with someone who has a halfway fininshed decent mod to merge with mine. Being back to work full time has put a damper on my progress recently. I have many many assets already made, alot still in 3d form, but ready to be converted to shp, I was shooting for a total shp mod other than aircraft, but will welcome vxl's if your mod has them. Those interested must be knowledgable in every aspect of Modding, but dosent mean you will have to do everything, just have the knowledge just incase. Please no Map Modders, This is a total TC and I've put alot of time and effort into what I have already, So please if you dont have the capabilities of doing a TC dont reply. Those interested, send me a PM.

PS, we can change name of mod too, as long as we agree on another name.

But a more detailed description of what your mod aims to be instead of screenies would be more helpful for those of us who might consider helping and are quite experienced in modding this old game.

Well I had a well put together story line and asset listings for the mod, but cant find where I saved it Mad And I didnt figure it would matter much if someone merges thier halfway put together mod with mine, seeing as the storyline may change anyway. I'm not looking for someone to just help, I'm looking for a permanent partner, So like I would make the an entire faction and he/she would make an entire faction, and share the terrain and coding duties, and so forth like that. I'm still going to be working on the mod individually until either I find someone and/or I somehow finish it myself.

Most people don't do a lot of art and if they do, they've been taken hostage by other mod projects. The best you'll get is someone who can code like the wind but not do much else.

Thanks for the replies guys, Though I'm not sure really what to do here, I think merging 2 seperate totally different mods wouldnt pan out so good, and I know another good Modeler/Artist is going to be hard to find, So what I think I'm going to do is finish the modeling myself, Then when all assets are in shp form, I'll call in a couple of you coders to help me do that, Hows that sound?

Doesn't matter if you still own. I did learn how everything works after a quite question-filled hour and a half.

I know how to make the AI go. I just lack the time to get everything ridiculously complex as you will.

Thanks for offering, and due to my new job consuming most of my days now I'll most likely being seeking people. A voxeler just so happens to be one of them. I make 99% of my stuff in 3dsMax then run it thru 3ds2vxl for those units that need to be voxels. sometimes they dont turn out so good. Maybe you could repaint them or touch them up? or if you just want to create somewthing new I'm all for it. I'll let you know.

I already started it, but never had the chance to get back to it. and still dont Confused requires allied scheme. Let me know, we can make out some kind of deal if ya want.

@Hotrods20, we may be able to work something out. We really dont need to merge mods, but just help one another out a bit. you do me a favor, I do you a favor, no what I mean? What type of skills do you and your team have? Basically, all I need is a mapper or 2, a voxeler "unless sstg wants to do it". and maybe a terrain artist. Everything else is being done by me.

Well Hassan and Twisted are in charge of art. I am just a coder. If you can give me some help with Einstein's AI, we can probably give you some art. I can create some maps for you. Just tell me what you are looking for in a map.

Well, we might as well hold off on the maps for now. I still need to finish alot of civi stuff, bridges, trees, etc. Which is why I havent even tried to start mapping yet. I need to get these factions done first. Venom is 97% done, while RevengeForce is only at 75%. Then the subfactions, VenomGuards, SpecialForce, and SecretSoceity, Pffft, they still need alot of work. My new job just killed me on this project. Working 50-60 hrs a week just put things at a super slow crawl Mad
That end of the summer beta just went to hell in a hand basket!

@SSTG,
The jet is a public 3d model download, and although I have made several of my own jets they are a huge part of this mod and I have a love for F15, F16, and F18 fighter jets. But I'm running out of time so I have to grab what I can to speed things up. I havent sent it to you yet because I'm in the middle of modifying it to look better than the original download. I'll have to reconvert it into a vxl again and then I'll send it to you.

just Temperate maps with lots of hills and rivers and trees. Will also have my new water tunnels and water slopes added in as well. I still have to finish up my new bridges and a few other terrain things.
