New Soviet additons and replacements
Subject description: From Russia with love ;)
These are the new Soviet stuff:
Infantry
Terror Drone
Base security and anti-armor robot. Replaces the Attack Dog. Now built from the Barracks. It can now also detect and kill spies.
Terrorist
Suicide unit. Self-destructs at the enemy. Fast and deadly unit, especially when used with transports and Crazy Ivan. Explosions affects a smaller area and does not damage or kill friendly units.
Spetsnaz
Specialist. Armed with an AK-47 assault rifle which can dispose infantry easily but not vehicles. Calls in a single (two when elite) Pounder fighter bomber to drop bombs on buildings painted by his laser designator.
Black Guard
Advanced soldier. Armed with a gyrojet rifle which can tear through most kinds of armor effectively except building armor. It can also shoot at aircraft, specifically slow moving aircraft. He is immune to toxins and radiation and can detect hidden foes at close range.
Ground Vehicles
Warmaster Heavy Tank
Standard battle tank. Replaces the Rhino. Armed with dual 120mm cannons.
Bulldog APC
Scout/infantry transport/anti-air platform. Uses it's 45mm cannon against ground targets, specifically infantry, and it's dual flak cannons against aircrafts. Equipped with a small radar that can detect hidden enemies within range.
Tesla Tank
Advanced battle tank. Now having increased speed and fires two weaker electric bolts in a burst.
V3 Platform
Ballistic missile artillery. Replaces the V3 Rocket. Has more armor than the old truck chassis and increased firing rate too.
Demolition Truck
Suicide unit. Now faster and cheaper to produce. Explosion is now smaller and radiation affects smaller area.
Iron Shield
Support vehicle. Uses a small scale Iron Curtain device to render vehicles and structures invulnerable for a very short time. It must constantly shoot at it's target in order to keep them invulnerable. Can use the device to instantly kill infantry if needed.
Apocalypse
Super heavy tank. Now armed with dual 200mm cannons and can crush smaller vehicles. Cannot be crushed.
Aircraft
MiG Fighter
Multirole strike plane. Fires a pair of dual purpose homing missiles at air and ground targets.
Navy
Corkscrew Transport
Heavy transport. Replaces the Amphibious Transport. Can transport several infantries, four small vehicles (e.g MBTs) or two large vehicles (e.g Apocalypse) over land and sea. Can also crush smaller vehicles.
Sea Scorpion
Anti-air warship/light gunboat. New model is now equipped with a dual flak cannon turret.
Dreadnought
Sea-based ballistic missile platform. Now has increased range at the cost of slowed firing rate.
Support Powers
Tank Drop
Executed from the War Factory. Calls in an Antonov cargo plane to drop four Mantis Light Tanks at the designated location.
Doctrines
"Red Dawn"
Gain access to field portable nuclear weapons.
Twinblade
Helicopter gunship/artillery, replaces the Siege Chopper. Fires inaccurate 100mm nuclear shells at long ranges. Launches Strela AA missiles at nearby enemy aircrafts.
Devastator
Advanced tank, replaces the Tesla Tank. Armed with dual nuclear cannons which is effective against infantry and vehicles. Explodes violently when destroyed. Can also be told to self-destruct.
MIRV Strike
Executed from the Weapons HQ. A 'Luna' ICBM will be launched towards the target area. Once it reaches the target area, it splits up and releases it's many nuclear warheads that inflict widespread damage to anything caught in the resulting explosions.
"Iron Fist"
Gain access to reverse engineered Iron Curtain-based weapons.
MAD Tank
Suicide unit, replaces the Demolition Truck. When detonated, it sends out a very wide shockwave that severely damages vehicles and structures. The shockwave has no effect on organic units.
Iron Dragon
Multirole strike plane, replaces the MiG Fighter. Uses 'Iron Arrow' missiles against aerial targets and 'Sledgehammer' guided bombs against ground targets. Both weapons inflict splash damage. The Iron Dragon can only fire one of the two payloads.
*No Image*

Sorry, but the MiG,Corkscrew,Demo Truck and Elephant tank are simply ugly. Why not try doing some extra stuff to them? The Demo Truck should be way smaller, the Corkscrew needs some more textures and the Elephant....well,it screams to be replaced.

Freedom, give omnicrusher tag to Apocalypse si not good idea because this tag force the tank to aproach at enemy vehicles to crush it, exposing needlessly the Apocalypse to enemy attack...
Omnicruser give the vehicle capacity to crush other vehicles and gives a attacking behavoir wich makes Apocalyse less effective against other vehicles... QUICK_EDIT
Well, isn't the mighty Apocalypse supposed to be something that would instill fear in one's eye as it approaches him with it's guns blazing? Yeah it would make itself open to enemy fire as it approaches the enemy so you'll just have to support them (like using the agile Scythes against Tankbusters). _________________ The future belongs to The Forgotten!
Note that some of these units have new names and new graphics, not the graphics as depicted here. No screenshots of them though... _________________ The future belongs to The Forgotten!

I think the Corkscrew should be bigger, because if it holds four elephant tanks, it just looks better. _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!

Not to nitpick, as I like the voxels and ideas presented, but 120mm and 200mm are not Soviet cannon calibers.
122mm, 125mm, 203mm are the closest; 200mm is far too large for a tank cannon. _________________ YR modder/artist, DOOM mapper, aka evanb90

IMO, Frenzy should reduce armour (the driver will be taking unnecessary risks while he's in this frenzy, so armour should drop) - if you up everything, then why bother ever using the Iron Curtain, which only prevents it from being killed? QUICK_EDIT
Updated. Yeah, the Frenzy is still quite OP. I actually wanted it to reduce health every time you use it. Maybe I'll just remove improving the armor then. _________________ The future belongs to The Forgotten!
Took a break from modding, went playing other games. Got back into modding, found out my disc is FUBAR. Made an .iso out of it and I'm back in business! Gonna do some revamping of certain units and such. But for now, here's some updates. Expect more soon _________________ The future belongs to The Forgotten!
