My first try at Starcraft II's new editor so I tried something simple, a remake of RA2's Bay of Pigs map. It is rather plain for the most part so I will most likely create a more natural version of it based on Char. Now as far as I know only users using the North American version of the game can play this since SCII has no actual maps folder. :/

To play, just launch Starcraft II and create a new custom game. In the box which says "Search by name" just type in Bay of Pigs.

why are all the map so bland, hiding my hatred its quite good in tearms of basic shape but thats all it is... is this it in terms of detail on maps all i have seen are horribly detailed, sc1 looks more detailed than this...

When you see my finishe dmaps, you'll like the detail. I put more work into making the terrain itself have more then one texture in most places while keeping a generic style with cliffs and the resources texture wise. I have one in the making for the Shakuras Tileset :p

Now my comments on this map...

MISSING NATURAL EXPANSIONS NEXT TO START LOCATIONS!
