Subject description: Testers needed for XTX: Terrain Expansion

Some of you may remember the project started several years ago by Gangster. Over the years several efforts have been made to complete the expansion, but none so far have reached the beta stage. I need people to test the tiles and find problems with them, whether it be simply looking bad or causing crashes. I'd prefer to use people who can correct the issues, as well as detect them. Post here if you're interested/

I think your work is great. We both have different visions for a terrain expansion, and I sent that vision off to TB, and he took it farther than I planned (in a positive way), and really inspired me to get back to work on terrain pieces. Your vision is unique, and different. I like it a lot Smile

Yeah but who gives a shit who did it first? Rather odd way to say you like his mod by saying its only derivative.

Regulus' idea is sound. Since the XTX has failed to be released complete for jesus knows how long, it would surely be more productive for both mods to work together. They seem to cover different areas as well. Plus then you've gotta think about the aftermath. Do I play custom maps that use the which expansion? What if they conflict so I can only use one at once? What if the other guy has the wrong patch? Also modders who wish to incorporate these expansions will have to work harder to make sure they work together. Pointless competition.

Also, my expansion is designed to be modular. Modders can pick and choose what to use or not, meaning that there will be many variants of the same thing possibly. Also meaning that the more artists with different art directions, the better.
