TSTW will have a nice amount of new tiberium types that will appear in TSTW maps but also in standard TS maps (if everything goes as planned).

Anyway, let the screens speak for themselves...

On this pic you can see two Tiberium Cruentus plants. This type of tiberium has no harvestable forms, just large plants like shown here.

This is a big Tiberium Aboreus plant.
Tiberium Aboreus is a new Tiberium Type that you'll find only in TSTW and (i think) TSR. However in different forms.

looks good though some I think need a better transition from ground to plant/crystal.

I would just like to say, the Green Large Tiberium Riparius Crystal, the colouring doesn't fit in with the rest of the green tiberium.. it appears a little too pale, so perhaps if you can darken it, and make it a stronger shade of green? Then again, even that may not look right Laughing

Yes Muldrake, i know, but... it's a problem with TS itself really. The pallette the game uses to draw these plants, doesn't have that many shades of green..so i need to light it up with some lightposts on the map. It works well, i've achieved better results now than what you can see on the first pic.

Here's an example of the green crystal which not only has been edited to make it connect better to the ground, but also with added special lighing.

Looks better, but I still think it needs better transition from ground to plant, it looks like it's just sitting there on top of the ground.

hmm yeah, the problem is, it should be on the green tiberium terrain, and the texture of that green tiberium terrain is different all the time so it's hard to make a fitting transition for it.

You can make cruentus destoyable and make the debris spawn your new tiberium type.

Problem though. the Cruentus,needs to be a building(not a terrain object,like Fauna)

Why don't the Tiberian Fiends on the pic dig themselves in?
You should make the Civilian house Green btw, so the fiends and visceroids look green. Then they would look way better IMO.
