Thanks for the heads up! I think I'll finally buy RA3, now that it's $4
I wouldn't even pay that much for C&C4 though

oh yeah, anyone play the RA3 Uprising campaigns? are they any good?

Uprising's campaign easily beats the original RA3 campaign in everything. Playing through it, made me rather sad with the idea that no further addons of equal quality would be produced.

Although Commander's Challenge is pretty damn tough.

C&C4 is not worth even 1$, should be freebie, its that bad crap.
RA3 despite its all flaws and stuff, has fair campaigns.... the new units in uprising are far short of balanced #Tongue

Because it's pretty much unmoddable. Otherwise on day one of the mod release someone would've changed the stupid system with the checkpoints being repopulated really quickly.

wow I totally forgot the RA3 campaigns were co-op. The game is looking pretty good so far - all except for the conyard base build limit.

I wish they would've gone back to allowing 1 structure being built at a time, there's really no need for more than that.

Is C&C4 moddable?

I don't know what the engine looks like, but it could turn into an excellent engine, perhaps?

C&C3 wasn't so bad after people started making mods for it you know.

Pretty sure there are no moding tools for it. At all.

There is no mod SDK for C&C4. So, you can't mod it yet. You can only create maps with the world builder.

like Battlefield? JK battlefield 3 is having unique weapon preorder deals. Say what you will about CoD, I know if I buy CoD at Wal*Mart, Amazon, or from Your Mother, I won't have to worry about the other idiots in the game having better exclusive weapons than I do.

Well you don't know what the premium bit of CoD: Elite will have. Knowing Activision, it'll give you some nice content unlocks. WoW is their biggest cash cow, they want to make CoD into a game where they can continuously charge their users in the same way.

Also, are you on about the time-based preorder content? Seems reasonable to me.

iirc CoD elite is for unlocking map packs like the Battlefield pre-order codes.

Also, the gun's stats aren't revealed yet. When gun stats are out then we'll see if these are balance upsetting or 'reskins'.
