An old training ground now left a barren wasteland sets the scene for this CnC: Renegade inspired map. Even Tiberium here struggles to get a firm foothold and has reformed into a Red Tiberium variant. The few supply depots that exist here lay in the center of the map meaning control over them will most likely change hands several times.

There's an overlay misplacement on the bridge to the south-east. You can see its shadow on the bridge base.

Is that watch tower capturable, or just eye-candy?

Interesting cliff work, a good map overall. The waterfalls look out of place, the water seems to be flowing from and to nowhere.

I'll fix that ASAP, though I have had a masive amount of problems with bridges recently so that ASAP probably means when I feel like facing dreaded bridges. I believe the waterfall is just there simply mimicing Renegades Hourglass. Regarding the watch towers I am considering whether or not they should be capturable or not and used as light guard towers. I can always add remap segments to them if we choose to do that.

Wow...I wrote a lengthy post and it didnt go through.

On the topic of the towers....it appears as if the facing is off. Not perspective but the facing. The shadow from the roof cast a pretty big shadow on the SE windows. Just thought I'd bring that to your attention. Don't know if that was intentional.

it was, of course, meant to be a direct remake of the Renegade map - since CTF was very much influenced by some elements of Renegade. Converting down to TS did remove a whole lot of stuff, but as symmetrical, tournament type maps go this one works fairly well.

The shadow on the bridge is a bit strange, I've never seen it on my copy of the map.

Good edits, Morpher, just btw.

I can't think of anything else but the overlay being on top of the bridge end.

I've never thought about remaking Renegade maps before. This is great!

Indeed. Except the awkward fountains in the middle of the map. Looks...odd.

They're on the Renegade map, and it wouldn't have felt right to not include them here in some way or another.
