C&C 3 alien question

Is there any reason for that Scrin computer to speak in English? I kind of would have preferred it retained the alien language and had English subs or something.

A friend of mine is from Austria. The aliens in his Halo speak german.

It sounds just like a sketch I remember involving the Wehrmacht, and an exploding tank of helium.

The main point is that the commander understand the language, immediately - perhaps the information is fed in a code that does not correspond to a language of sorts, but directly into understand by the mind's processes.
