Alright, this poll is about "Should the building graphics be bigger or not?"

Before you vote, read the pros and cons below.

PRO bigger graphics:
- more detailed (look better)
- more realistic compared to size of units
- allows to let some units stay as they are instead of resizing 'em

CONTRA bigger graphics:
- buildings require much more space (power plant 3x3=9 instead of 2x2=4 cells), which might be a problem on some multiplayer maps with space running out.
- bigger buildings are more easily hit by inaccurate projectiles (artillery, ssm, mlrs) and are more vulnerable to nuclear missiles
- at the same time a nuke can hit a smaller amount of buildings at the same time
- on some buildings it might look a bit odd that the very left and very right cell of the building are empty but nevertheless uncrossable.
- more time is required for making these resized graphics because they need more details, sharpening and edge cleaning (did you ever saw what a mess the XCC Mixer resize function sometimes produces?), which makes the mod being released probably 1 or 2 months later.

you see, there are more cons, but the pros have a little higher weight.

it's your decision, I won't take part in this poll. I just hope there's more than just 3 or 4 votes...

the problem is also the civilian buildings... as the military buildings would look much bigger than civilian buildings... TS doesnt leave much options in this sense...

So far 2 to 5.

But I have some good news: I've decided to modify some buildings like the powerplants and the silo to make them fit into 2x2 cells even if they're resized.
Also, for some buildings there will be new images made from scratch (don't worry, they won't be used unless they look at least as good as the ones from TD)

This will slow down the development of the mod by maybe a month, but will result in better graphics without a negative impact on game play Smile
