Obelisk of Enlightenment
Affiliation: Yuri's Army
Purpose: Advanced Ground Defense
Power: -75
Cost: 1500
Strength: 600

Armor: Steel
Requirements: Academy & Radar Beacon
Additional Info:
- Can be toggled On or Off

The Obelisk is one of the greatest developments they introduced for Yuri's Army. Essentially a fixed emplacement of the Dissintegrator Lasers armed on Yuri's Floating Disks & Motherships. The Obelisk is one of the most fearsome Defenses ever encountered. Rumored to even surpass the Soviet's Tesla Coil in firepower as well as having a longer range. However key flaws were discovered by both Allied & Soviet intelligence as the Obelisk required much more power in firing its weapon and has a longer recharge rate.

How do you toggle the structure? Seen this feature in quite some mods, and still no idea how it's done. #Tongue

Theres a Superweapon that lets you turn buildings on or off. That Superweapon is customized to only affect your own buildings.

I'm still planning on further tweaking it. (Specifically removing its "Balls") Cannot Unsee.... Shocked

It's not mine, Holy_Master made it. Its his Obelisk in Reign of Steel.

Same sounds as the Nod Obelisk either way.

Still a lot better than the C&C4 Obelisk, which doesn't even have balls but also a foreskin. What an ugly design choice

Holy Masters design on the other hand is really cool and i wouldn't have noticed the "balls" immediately. Maybe alter the shape slightly or add some nice glowing activeanims (e.g. the remap stripes glowing).

The only ugly part I see is the crystal beam part, which is kinda small/stupidly large. And lacking some details on the structure.

Ares has a new Tag InfDeathAnim which lets you specify custom death animations for that Warhead. InfDeath=x must be removed from that Warhead to work though.
