The position of a Flak Trooper differs between two point of views. On one hand, they're the lowest rank in the Red Army, consisting mainly of convicts serving their time and the homeless who are plucked off the streets or even enlist themselves with the promise of being rewarded with basic necessities such as food and shelter. On the other hand, they're seen as respected underdogs, tough guys who carry around massive Flak Bazookas and aid their comrades by providing fire support. Regardless, Flak Troopers are essential, though expandable assets. They're cheap anti-air defence, firing flak shells that explode into a cloud of shrapnel capable of damaging groups of aircrafts. Against ground targets they fire high explosive shells which can help in destroying tougher foes. Though largely neglected, the high ups were kind enough to train them in urban warfare and provide recognised individuals with modified Flak Bazookas which can be useful in battle.
