The dev's from Planetary Annihilation are now back on Kickstarter with a brand spanking new RTS.

It's simple premise of a two-factioned RTS, which is not only set in good ole post-apocalypse.

You play as the apocalypse. Well one of them!

In one corner we have the now classic, killer robot AI gone rogue on its human creators motif.

Being technology itself, humanity is no match, and with no John Connor or Neo to put a stop to them, causes a few to go on the deep end with a mad desperate prayer, abandoning all logic, science and hope.

Heeding the call, with their noodly appendages and writhing in their dark non-euclidean corner come forth the squiggly loveable lovecraftian eldritch horrors, known as the Ancient Ones.

These two vastly opposing factions clash on whatever is left of earth, stomping around the urban jungles of earth, toppling cities without abandon, as if it could not get worse for good ole humans.

Welp, despite being the most numerous thing on the planet next to bacteria, they don't get a 3rd faction of rag-tag survivors this time around, instead as the name states.

The Resources are the People!

Yes, the main resource isn't the ubiquitous glittering geodes, gold mines or stinky geysers and shiny crystals, but instead kicking and screaming homo sapiens.

Its like good ole days of playing RA on the PS1 with a certain easter egg applied to make the ore more lively. ;P

Uhh it is, has been for at least a month. They've been patching it as much as they were before "release", with 1v1 ranked matchmaking as the latest big feature.

I think it failed for good, looked more like a scam attempt to suck more money to fund a studio that releases unfinished products.
