First download and install the mod.

Set it up normally.  Use normal renderer.  Ensure your screen res is what you want it at.

Go to http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Command_%26_Conquer:_Red_Alert_2 and scroll down to "Black screen with switchable graphics" and download the "preconfigured fix" and place it in your Dawn of the Tiberium Age folder.  Same one with DTA.exe.

This worked for me for Red Alert 2 and it's worked for me with DTA.

Happy skirmishing.

Yaaay, it works! Time to put the spam on hold and ask a decent question for once, in the name of jebus, or something.

So, this fixed my issue of the in game menu screens not showing up. Although the menus worked, you couldn't tell if they were there unless you alt-tabbed out and back in. You'd be clicking blindly just to try to save your game. This also fixed the screen tearing while scrolling the battlefield view.

So the question is, how the hell can we get this in as standard, so that I don't get the red coloured text pop up window whilst firing up DTA? So I can play online with no potential bullshit? Or is there a way to enforce the changes brought on by these two external files available for download in previous post, using DTA's interface, and, I'm just an idiot for not finding these options in said interface?

I wouldn't be surprised.  Twisted Evil

If you first select the default renderer in the options menu before placing the new ddraw.dll file (and also the aqrit.cfg file) in DTA's directory, you won't need to replace any files (there is normally no ddraw.dll file present in the game directory while the default renderer is selected), which means that the client then shouldn't detect a version mismatch.

Like I mentioned at the end of my last news post however, if you're using an Nvidia graphics card in combination with Windows 7, then your GeForce drivers are most likely to blame.
In that case you should be able to get better results by downgrading your GeForce driver to version 344.11.

I did select default render upon very first startup. The were two other options, aside from "Default"?

That is true, your latest post explains nVIDIA being troublesome. Downgrading is a hassle though, amirite?

Can you guys combine this mod (the aforementioned downlaod links and such) with your own?

Mainly, can I still play online despite the red text popup warning box without getting kicked out?

I have just confirmed that GeForce driver version 347.25 that was released not long ago no longer has the performance issues that were introduced with version 344.48.
So rather than downgrading, you can now simply update your GPU drivers to solve the aforementioned issues.
