It's good to see more people take a stab at it. We could always use more high quality assets in the community. I gave it a shot but besides being caught up with other stuff, I couldn't figure out how to apply a texture to save my life.

You can just drag & drop a texture from windows explorer onto your model in 3DS Max & it will automatically apply it. Or you can fully unwrap a model and make a custom texture for it, which is very daunting at first but once you get the hang of it it's very simple.

You probably have to pull your right UI open more to get to it.

Bringing this topic up again since I'm learning how to 3-D model now.

This is my first model, I know it isn't that great, but I'm seeking for feedbacks on how to make even better models.

Remake of a Pillbox, nice. But the sandbag wasn't realistic enough

Need to see a proper size render, OR shrink it in photoshop then do unshark mask to make it more contrasty...

The design itself is alright, but I would rather see those red strips on top like shutters that fold down or maybe hatches to jump out of.

One does not simply unshark.



/ontopic: As far as the general shape and color goes, it could really do with even simple UV mapping, and the lighting really makes it hard to see, so I'd suggest learning how to set up a couple lights, or put it into a scene someone else has uploaded here.
