It was a dark and stormy night…

I finally started fiddling around with some lighting triggers and I think I came up with some workable thunder and lightning. I’m not sure if anyone else has done something like this, but just in case I thought I’d throw it out there. The ambient lighting change lasts a little longer than I want it to, so if anyone has a better way to execute this I’d be happy to hear it.

You could always abuse the Lightning Storm SW (while disabling major superweapons for all players).

Absolutely. Some survival mapper called FlyingZ came up with an FA2 script that adds a trigger and messes with the ini to make something akin to the random ion storms in TS.

Didn't someone release a whole package dedicated to making storms and other ambient things in maps? Might have been FlyingZ I dunno, but I do remember it was geared towards YR mapping.
