I notice that AI keeps building more walls at the same place where the building it protects with walls was destroyed. Is there any way to solve this problem?

This may be caused by
[General]
AIRestrictReplaceTime
;After a computer takes damage to a building, this is the number of frames to restrict the replacement of lost buildings to only walls and base defenses and power

set it to zero may solve the problem

Thanks for your advice, I set it to 0 but the problem still can't be solved. After the AI's battle lab and its walls had been destroyed, it rebuilt the battle lab at another location but still built clusters of walls at the old place. I was forced to set ProtectWithWall=no for all buildings because of this problem.

ProtectWithWall=no is terrible for pathfinding if the AI has a large base.

I would advise not using it.

This is an old bug that has been in the game since release & there is no fix that I know of. This behavior is because the AI prefers to place wall segments next to each other, so if there are are preexisting walls it places any new ones next to them instead of at a different location.

@MigEater: Even if I clear up all of the walls, AI still keeps replacing them with new ones....
