The mouse.sha that I want loads in mousepal.pal in SHP editor, however it seems like the default palette for mousa.sha seems to be Anim.

no no, that's the first thing i tried.Maybe I should have been more specific

The mouse.sha that I want is supposed to be loaded with mousepal.pal (tiberian sun), that's the way it works in SHP Builder (blue cursors)

However, the problem is that it seems the game loads the mouse.sha file with the anim palette as default and this messes up my colors

I saved the file with comp 1, changed the extention manually from mouse.shp to mouse.sha since yuri's revenge needs it as .sha

If this seems to be the case, what can i do ?

Game uses mousepal.pal for mouse. TS mousepal.pal is different from RA2
mousepal.pal. If your new mouse.sha looks correct with TS mousepal.pal,
then put that palette in like expandmd90.mix and place it in game folder.

Wow, that worked perfectly!

Thank you very much, I never would have guessed.
