I tried to make Mastermind can release psiwave when deploy like that of yuri but when ordered to deploy it just fire its primary waeapon. What's wrong?

Not IsSimpleDeployer, more precisely Deployer=yes

Do note also if the Unit has a turret it will always face south when deploying and will keep firing until ordered to stop.

I've tested

IsSimpleDeployer=yes make mastermind unable to move when deploy till undeployed. Not releasing of psi wave.

Deployer=yes will just make mastermind try to mind control the ground with its primary weapon.

And you've tested it with the code you've posted WITH Deployer=yes already?

IsSimpleDeployer is a tag that works differently. It forces the unit to become immobile and forces them to use only their Secondary.

Add a small (0.5 or less, but above 0) MinimumRange to the primary weapon. Don't think UndeployDelay works with vehicles either btw.

Be aware of one fundamental issue just like Yuri Clones.
When it is mind controlling anything, it will not be able to use the psiwave deploy.
