Subject description: Improving the Old one

Hi all, I need critics on this one before I moved on to the others, given on the cinematics the power cables and the coil on top are charged or have that electrical animation.

I have here an original 8 frame for the bio reactor.
The bolts are using the color from tesla coil.

Comments and Suggestions for improvements will be appreciated.
What do you think of the two?

The electricity looks great, gives it a wacky science feel that could suit Yuri a lot if you're going down that route. Probably I would go with b, seems like a more natural electric arc to me and suggests the thing on the top has some energy transforming purpose.

The green however I don't much like. Maybe if it was a different tone of green and there were more shades, but I prefer the original colours over this version.

the original looks like liquid ore on some occasions if its compared to some buildings or if im going to use a refinery of MadHQ's for example.

I've been zooming in the cut scenes for original content. Bio Reactor glows in green or it really is green.

In the FMV the electricity doesn't either rotate or go up all the wires at the same time, instead it goes up by one or two with second delayed at a time cycling around all.
Having them all go up at the same time or rotating makes it seem like a coiled weapon.

I would go with the second too - it fits the game and the first reminds me a bit to much of a charging tesla coil.
