So somehow I missed this until now from all the E3 stuff....but yea...

the sequel to the last Doom game is coming and in this little preview I see what appears to be the return of Arachnotrons, Pain Elemental, and the Archvile. It also looks like the Baron of Hell gets some hell energy sword thingie on it...and is that...Hell on Earth?

im kinda excited...

Just kinda excited? What kind of Doom fan are you? #Tongue

My brother showed me it and I just about lost it. On top of the things you mentioned, there's also classic-style Imps, they went classic-Doom on the Doomslayer's armor (it's a  lighter green, with no sleeves and a different helmet design).

Death by nostalgia. Literally.

They'll be showing proper gameplay during QuakeCon in August.

Their doom 2016 game was only sorta good. multiplayer was just ok. felt a little too simple. reminded me of unreal tournament more than halo or doom for some reason.

D2K16's multiplayer was done by another company; it was designed and balanced in a manner completely differently from the singleplayer game.

Real selling point of that game was the excellent singleplayer.
