Mod move to TS Client
Subject description: The Second Tiberium War
Well I've been gone for a long time and came back to see a new TS client and decided to move The Second Tiberium War to the new client but am having an issue. Normally I just placed all my new assets into the Ecache02.mix and Expand02.mix but when I use it with the new TS client is crashes the game. Can someone enlighten me as why this is happening? _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Actually I just found out that it's Expand02.mix that crashes that game, even when i place it in the Mix directory empty it crashes. Anyone experience this phenomenon? _________________ QUICK_EDIT
I just copied a DTA mix into the TS Client and renamed the mix to expand02.mix.
Everything works fine here.
Check if it isn't a problem of the mix. Maybe it's corrupt.

As such expand02.mix isn't a problem. TSClient removes blowfish.dll dependancy, so any mix file copied from original TS will cause it to crash. Those mix files have to be repacked with XCC Mixer.
Also, you should be careful with ecache02.mix/ecache03.mix filenames, if you enable some checkboxes in options windows that were meant for DTA/TI mods, those files could be overwritten from the ones in Resources folder. Last TSClient version 5.43 doesn't allow those mix files in Resources folder to be deleted, then options doesn't get saved. Newer source code of xna-cncnet client at github allows for the deletion of those mix files in Resource folder. QUICK_EDIT
